I’m Lauri Green CPDT-KA (they/them), a dog trainer with a passion for positive reinforcement and animal liberation. My approach is fun and reward-based, strengthening bonds through play. I specialize in raising puppies, building confidence in shy/rescue dogs, dog-dog socialization, and off-leash listening skills. I steer clear of harsh punishments with choke, prong, or shock collars.
Misinformation is rampant in the dog training industry, but I believe it’s never too late to do right by your dog!
My dog training journey began in 2005 at the SF SPCA, where I learned clicker training while helping fearful dogs and those with special medical needs. In 2018, adopting my own dog changed my life forever. I left academia in 2019 to become a full-time dog walker and trainer, gaining experience with dogs of all kinds.
I am also an animal liberation activist and vegan, and my deep empathy for animals drives all of my work. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a dog come out of their shell and reach their full potential. If you are looking for a dog trainer who prioritizes your dog’s well-being and happiness, please get in touch. Let’s schedule a consultation and see how we can work together to improve your dog’s behavior and build a deeper connection.
